Travel with us this autumn as we continue our journey that began at the gateway of the Mediterranean and the 2 Pillars of Hercules. From Turkey to Syria, Israel, Morocco and beyond. Bazaars, the Noise, the People, the Food: humanity in the harshest of places, the most beautiful of places, and everything in-between. Places in the midst of great change today- there is perspective. Journey with traveller and writer Paul Theroux, as he avoids airplanes and gets to where he is going any way he can! Enjoy his gift for witty and graceful language in a book full of insights, marvels （this is the Mediterranean after all!） and interviews. Engrossing. Enlightening, Challenging- and definitely a journey worth taking!
