大学公開講座のセカンドアカデミー

【目標】
・Improve speaking skills， discussion skills.
・Learn about interesting topics by listening to student speeches， asking questions， etc.

【講義概要】
This time， we will focus on "what I like". Students will selection their own "favorite" from each topic， and introduce it to the class. Please see the syllabus for details. Always be ready to give a short speech (5ー10 minutes) and speak in a small group. Bring any resources that you can show your fellow students and refer to as you speak. This class will be a good opportunity not only to speak English， but also to make friends.

名前	Robert L.　Plautz
肩書き	翻訳家
プロフィール	ブリガム・ヤング大学(歴史専攻)にて、最優等で学士号を得たのち、東京外国語大学へ留学、日本の近代史の研究を行う。コロンビア大学(ジャーナリズム)にて修士号を得る。ルイジアナ州シュリーブポートジャーナル社にて、社説担当副編集長として従事。国際交流員として大分県企画調整課に勤務し知事の通訳を行う。翻訳家としても活躍中。
