【目標】

【講義概要】
We will read short stories and non-fiction essays by Truman Capote. Capote was a master of the short story and of short essays about celebrities. We will read several of each sort.
Capote was an eccentric， colorful character， but his literary reputation is assured as one of twentieth-century America's most distinguished， yet popular， authors.
We will check the meaning of words / sentences / paragraphs to assess the accuracy of our understanding. We will discuss possible meanings / interpretations of the stories from a general literary point of view.
