【目標】
To discuss， in upper intermediate-to-advanced English， the political， social， and economic challenges that Japan faces in a world where countries like China and India are ascendant.
【講義概要】
The class will identify the key aspects of each issue and debate the policy options for Japan's political and business leaders. By participating in this class you will become much more knowledgeable about these various issues， and， you should also become able to discuss them with confidence with your English speaking friends and colleagues. In past semesters the class has covered topics such as:-Japan's Demographic Conundrum; Which Way Forward?-Japan's Defense Policy; Time for a Reboot?-The Japan-China Relationship; How to Manage?-The Latent Potential of Japan's Agricultural Sector-Nuclear Power; A Place in Japan's Future?-Japan's Public Debt Problem; How to Solve?-[New] NGOs in Japan; What Roles to Play?
