＜目標＞
To improve fluency,“ enrich vocabulary”, and provide discussion opportunities for low-intermediate-level students of English as a Foreign Language.
＜講義概要＞
Students will:
1） practice theme-based dialogues（ Pronunciation feedback will be given by the instructor）,
2） cover listening-comprehension questions and dictation practice, and 3） improve their
discussion skills by covering two types of discussion exercises. They will learn to express their own opinions by giving“ appropriate” reasons and examples. Students will spend about 45 minutes on each of the 15 themes related to: 1） Respect, 2） Job Interviews,
3） Exercise,
4） Your Future,
5） The Future Global
Economy,
6） Honesty and Lies,
7） Food Culture,
8）Hobbies, Habits, Addictions,
9） Money & Happiness,
10） Peer Pressure,
11） Voting,
12） Personality Types,
13） Cellular Phones/Technology,
14） Study Habits,
and
15） Gender Issues.
Come to the 8 classes; share your knowledge with other students, and help each other discuss YOUR OPINIONS about the 15 themes.
