＜目標＞
Students will be able to read and hear news with comprehension, analyze the items, and elicit astute comments and opinions, using modern standards.
＜講義概要＞
This course provides an opportunity for students to discuss current events in Japan and the world. Newspaper and magazine articles are provided to encourage stimulating analysis and opinions. Videos and TV clips may be used as supplementary news sources. In addition, some historical background to current situations may be presented when deemed necessary.
Vocabulary, listening, reading, and speaking abilities will naturally improve as a result of active participation.
This interesting class will help students to polish the communication skills required for higher scores in TOEFL, TOEIC, and EIKEN, while we enjoy developing interesting perspectives on living our lives at this time.
