講座詳細
近代心理学について学ぶコースです。精神病、カウンセリング、特殊能力、自己実現、うつ病、超心理学、青年心理学、脳に関する最近の発見など、幅広いテーマを取り上げます。受講生は、老年心理学、心理言語学、睡眠心理学と夢と学びの相関など希望により追加テーマを提案することができます。

| プロフィール | Marshall Childs, AB, MBA, EdD, is a U.S. citizen born and raised in Oregon. Following his graduation from Harvard, he worked for IBM for 30 years (the last five years of which were in Tokyo). He earned his MBA from New York University while working for IBM in New York. He left IBM in order to stay in Japan, and began a new life as a teacher and writer in Tokyo. During his doctoral studies in language learning (completed in 1997), he specialized in psychology. He now teaches in the Graduate Education and Continuing Education programs at Temple University Japan, offering courses in such topics as language learning, psychology, and management psychology. He used to write a monthly column, "The Practical Linguist," for The Daily Yomiuri. |
