【講座内容】
In this class we will practice and review patterns and idioms in their cultural context and in a lively way. Come along to experience REAL language in a relaxed atmosphere! Do you wish to understand native speakers better? Do you feel you need to acquire more fluency? Come and join us to Challenge Your Skills! This course focuses on speaking and listening skills using original materials. In recent semesters some topics included the monarchy in the UK, visiting Wales, national emblems, sports, ageing and keeping healthy. Outside of the class, reading aloud to improve flow is recommended. Repetition is the key to improvement!

プロフィール | Has been teaching French Language and Culture as well as European Social Issues for the ROCK since 2006. From 2001 until 2019 lectured at Reitaku University in the Foreign Languages Faculty. Graduated in English Language and Social Studies from Nantes University in France. Gained a Post-Graduate Degree in Educational Science & Language Teaching from Nottingham University, Great Britain. Apart from French and English, has proficiency level in Spanish and Catalan and a working knowledge of Japanese. Has been promoting communication techniques throughout her teaching career in a wide range of colleges in various countries. Currently involved in developing original materials moving away from the Grammar- Translation method to focus on active use of L2 through stimulating content. |
