【講座趣旨】
Current events and news are important topics of conversation in any language. However， news always changes， so it is difficult to keep up with all of the vocabulary necessary to understand these topics.
In this course， we will look at different news topics each week， learn the vocabulary needed to talk about them， and then discuss our opinions with each other.
In class， we will look at television news reports and listen to radio broadcasts. For homework， students will read newspaper or magazine articles. This may seem difficult at first， but with preparation， you will be able to understand and talk about the topics.
