講座詳細
In this lecture, Jeri Foley, a noted American designer in Japan, will discuss how Japan and the West influenced each other’s art: Monet, Hokusai, Van Gogh, Hiroshige, Frank Lloyd Wright, Mizoguchi, Louise Brooks and even Betty Boop. She will explain why some of the most famous names / characters of the art and design world were influential (some subtlety and others dramatically).
Ms. Foley has completed more than 100 design projects in Japan, including the American Airlines lounge at Narita, Takeda General Hospital, and several JR Tokai train interiors. She is CEO of Images, a design firm that she founded over 20 years ago in Tokyo.
