講座詳細
This course is for students who have a good command of the English language and who would like to improve their English ability by working towards expressing their opinions about current international news stories. Every week, students will be expected to have read a newspaper article assigned by the teacher in preparation for in-class discussion. Students will be expected to come to class having read the article and having prepared what they would like to say about the issue being discussed. The goal of the course is to improve one’s English communication skills and to think about ongoing events in our world. (*The course may or may not come to focus on one theme depending on the interest of the students.)
